Cheese bow. |
|
Last week I took the opportunity to introduce my delightful new American fiancee to many of my dear friends at a charity banquet, organised by the English Cheese Association in order to raise funds for the poor and needy. Everybody was captivated by her charm and beauty. Her quaint lack of social ettiquette and poor grammer amused all. She was quite the success. Not many former exotic dancers can hold thier own with the cream of society. What a girl and shes mine all mine !
The banquet finished with a charity auction, where various items made from cheese were on offer to the highest bidder.
I decided to get into the spirit of the event and buy my dear sweet little fiancee the most prized item up for sale, a most splendid and glorious antique bow made from the most tastiest and expensive cheese known to man.
I got into a most furious bidding war with an odious and portly cheesemonger from Shropshire, who wanted to add the cheese bow to his vast collection of cheese antiquities. I out bid the upstart and purchased it for the grand sum of £300 !
My divine fiancee was thrilled when I presented her with her gift.
