Hunting should be done in parts where you have knowledge of raccoons feeding, like woods along streams or rivers. Areas where a lot of den trees ca be found are excellent as well. Keep your eyes peeled for coon tracks near the water. Be sure to always ask for consent from the landowners previous to going onto their property for hunting purposes. When hunting with a gun, always keep the safety on the weapon on at all times. The gun ought to always be pointing away from you and other hunters around, and never at your feet. This safety measure should be taken not considering the wheather or if the safety of the weapon is on or off. If the safety should fail, at least no one will be hit. Also, always take correct care of your weapon because a fine cared for weapon should not misfire or pose needless risk to you and your companions. A gun that does not meet this level of care runs the risk of misfiring and the effects can be of the most unwanted. Hope this helps. Let me know if you need further info. Come again!
